(LaPresse) «A San Vittore invece la situazione non è bella anche dopo il principio di incendio di ieri, io non credo che San Vittore possa essere un carcere per il futuro, le condizioni di vita non sono assolutamente dignitose. La soluzione ideale sarebbe una ricollocazione di San Vittore e lì lasciare un parco, un solo spazio verde. Credo che questo sia necessario perlomeno affrontare la questione. Non si può andare avanti così, poteva anche essere una tragedia quella dell'altro giorno». Lo dice il sindaco della città Giuseppe Sala a margine del Cda del Teatro alla Scala, rispondendo a chi gli chiedeva quale fosse la situazione nel carcere dopo che nei giorni scorsi era stato necessario il trasferimento di 250 detenuti per un incendio che aveva danneggiato il blocco elettrico del terzo reparto.
