OSTDEUTSCHE RENTEN-DEBATTE: Neue Kritik an der Rente mit 63 – das sagt Axel Börsch-Supan!In der Debatte über die Rente mit 63 haben CSU-Chef Markus Söder und SPD-Co-Chefin Bärbel Bas Stellung bezogen. Michael Kretschmer, Mario Voigt und Dietmar Woidke lehnen eine Abschaffung der Rente mit 63 ab. Söder kritisiert den Vorstoß als überraschend. Bas zeigt sich gesprächsbereit und verteidigt zugleich den Rentenkompromiss. Rentenökonom Professor Axel Börsch-Supan bezeichnet die Rente mit 63 als eines der Kernstücke der geplanten Reform. Die Regelung koste niedrige zweistellige Milliardenbeträge pro Jahr. Rund ein Drittel der Menschen gehe über diese Regelung in Rente. Die normale Rente werde nur noch von einer Minderheit genutzt. Börsch-Supan sagt, die Rente mit 63 sei nicht gerecht. Sie betreffe eher reichere, gesündere und besser ausgebildete Menschen. Eine Härtefallregelung hält er für schwer umsetzbar. Stattdessen verweist er auf die Erwerbsminderungsrente. Zugleich warnt er vor weiter steigenden Lohnnebenkosten. Das könne jüngeren Erwerbstätigen in Ostdeutschland besonders schaden.
