Mereka terbunuh terkena tembakan hingga ledakan kendaraan militer yang mereka kendarai.
Pada Selasa (9/9/2025), militer Israel mengakui tewasnya seorang letnan dalam serangan petempur Palestina di Jabalia, Jalur Gaza Utara.
Laporan ini muncul sehari setelah IDF mengakui bahwa sebanyak empat tentaranya terbunuh.
Empat tentara ini tewas ketika sebuah alat peledak meledak di sebuah tank di utara Jalur Gaza.
Operasi penyerangan tersebut terjadi sekitar pukul 05.00 pagi waktu setempat.
Petempur Palestina dilaporkan menyerbu sebuah tank dan meleparkan sebuah alat peledak ke awak tank Israel.
Setelah itu, aksi dilanjutkan dengan tembakan yang diarahkan ke komandan tank.
Akibat serangan itu, tank terbakar hebat hingga mengakibatkan seluruh awaknya tewas.
"Operasi penyerangan tersebut mengakibatkan tank terbakar dan tewasnya seluruh awaknya," menurut situs web yang sama dilansir Khaberni, Selasa.
Sumber-sumber Israel mengindikasikan, operasi tersebut dilakukan meskipun pasukan Israel sedang dalam siaga tinggi.
Brigade Al-Qassam tak mundur, namun malah melancarkan Opetasi Tongkat Musa.
Operasi ini pun dinilai berhasil mencapai tujuannya.
