Los juegos generarán hasta 11.100 millones de euros en la región
Los Juegos Olímpicos de París darán un impulso a largo plazo a la economía francesa. Un informe publicado por la Universidad de Limoges reveló que en la región de París se generarán alrededor de 6,7 a 11.100 millones de euros en beneficios económicos netos gracias a los Juegos Olímpicos de París. Según el informe, de 2018 a 2034, se espera que el impacto económico proceda principalmente del turismo, la construcción y la organización de los Juegos. El turismo supondrá el 30% del impacto económico neto, la construcción el 28% y la organización del evento el 42%.Según la Oficina de Turismo de París, los turistas gastarán entre 2.000 y 6.000 millones de euros durante la magna cita deportiva. La mayor parte de los 7.000 millones de euros de financiación privada de los Juegos proceden de los derechos audiovisuales, el patrocinio y la venta de entradas, así como de la inversión privada en proyectos de infraestructuras a largo plazo.
