A fecha de 4 de diciembre, el Aeropuerto Internacional Baiyun, en Guangzhou, ya ha gestionado más de 77 millones de pasajeros este año, superando su volumen total de pasajeros de todo 2024.
Este hito se produce tras una importante ampliación de su capacidad. El 30 de octubre, la tercera terminal y la quinta pista comercial del aeropuerto entraron oficialmente en funcionamiento, lo que lo convierte en el primer centro de aviación civil de China en operar cinco pistas comerciales.
