Join developer Bit Bot Media for a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Legacy of Kain: Ascendance, an upcoming fast-paced action platformer featuring a mix of 2D sidescrolling gameplay and PS1 era-inspired 3D sequences. The new video gives us a deep dive into the music of the new game, as well as new gameplay mechanics, like Raziel's flight abilities. We also get introduced to the voice cast, featuring members of Legacy of Kain's voice cast who make a return in Legacy of Kain: Ascendance, including Michael Bell and Simon Templeman, who play Raziel and Kain, respectively. The cast also includes returning voice actors from Legacy of Kain, like Anna Gunn (who voices Ariel) and Richard Doyle (who voices Moebius). Darin DePaul (Call of Duty, Overwatch, and God of War) also joins the VA cast of Legacy of Kain: Ascendance.Set prior to the adventures of Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, storytelling and narrative are woven directly into the gameplay, cutscenes, and world design. Legacy of Kain: Ascendance will be available on PlayStation 5 (PS5), PlayStation 4 (PS4), Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PC (Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store) on March 31, 2026.
