JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Komika Marshel Widianto menanggapi kritikan pencalonannya sebagai Wakil Wali Kota Tangerang Selatan dari Partai Gerindra.Marshel menyebut kritikan membuatnya jadi lebih bangkit dan lebih baik.
Marshel pun mengaku pede ketika akan diduetkan dengan Mantan Wakil Gubernur Jakarta, Ahmad Riza Patria di Pilkada Kota Tangerang Selatan.
Bagi Marshel, diduetkan dengan Ahmad Riza Patria adalah sebuah keberuntungan karena beliau lebih berpengalaman.
Menurutnya, ia bisa belajar lebih dari Ahmad Riza Patria.
Ketua Harian DPP Partai Gerindra, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad menilai pasangan Ahmad Riza Patria-Marshel Widianto telah memenuhi syarat pengusungan calon kepala daerah, yakni minimal 20 kursi di DPRD. Dasco pun yakin terhadap pasangan Riza-Marshel.
Bahkan Dasco menyebut pasangan tersebut telah mengantongi dukungan dari partai politik lain di Pilkada Tangsel, baik dari Partai Koalisi Indonesia Maju atau pun di luar koalisi.
