Dopo tanta attesa, il Mubit è finalmente realtà. Davanti al presidente della FIP Giovanni Petrucci, al sindaco di Bologna Matteo Lepore e tanti volti simbolo della pallacanestro italiana, il Paladozza è diventato ufficialmente la sede del primo storico museo del basket in Italia. Il museo multimediale comprende cinque sale, tutte dedicate alla storia della pallacanestro tricolore, con una in particolare dedicata all’Hall of Fame italiana. Maglie, cimeli e medaglie, tra le quali anche l’argento olimpico del 2004 e il bronzo europeo delle ragazze di Italbasket di quest’estate, sono tutti esposti in Piazza Azzarita. Inoltre, una sesta sala comprende un rooftop, ulteriore segno della volontà di rendere il Mubit, un’esperienza a 360 gradi per tutti gli appassionati e non di pallacanestro.
