La Polizia di Stato ha notificato un’ordinanza di custodia cautelare in carcere emessa nei confronti di un 24enne di origine egiziana in quanto ritenuto partecipe di un’associazione con finalità di terrorismo internazionale. Il soggetto è noto in quanto le DIGOS di Brescia e Bergamo, il 4 ottobre 2024, al termine di una complessa attività d’indagine coordinata dalla Procura Distrettuale della Repubblica di Brescia, avevano eseguito a suo carico una misura di custodia cautelare in carcere per il delitto di apologia di delitti aggravata dalla finalità di terrorismo commesso attraverso una molteplicità di condotte, volte a propagandare ed esaltare le attività dell’Islamic State. Le indagini hanno consentito di riscontrare, infatti, come l’indagato, quale partecipe del gruppo “I pericolosi d’Egitto”, pianificasse attentati terroristici, prendendo di mira Stadi e luoghi di culto, progettando di arruolarsi tra i combattenti del Daesh in Mozambico, e provvedesse al suo auto-addestramento consultando siti internet per la creazione di esplosivi e condividendo video riguardanti l’utilizzo di kalashnikov e combattimenti.
