Hezbollah has renewed its demand for a full Israeli withdrawal from southern Lebanon, with chief Naim Qassem insisting that Israel must leave Lebanese territory according to an agreed timetable. The warning comes despite the longest pause in fighting in three months and amid ongoing diplomatic efforts involving the United States, Iran, Lebanon and Israel. While Hezbollah accuses Israel of violating the ceasefire, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to keep Israeli troops in southern Lebanon for as long as necessary.
