MEKKAH, KOMPAS.TV - Tenaga Kesehatan Jemaah Haji Indonesia disiagakan di Arab Saudi, salah satu fokus yang dilayani adalah merawat kesehatan haji lansia.Tersebar di beberapa wilayah di Kota Mekkah, tenaga kesehatan jemaah haji Indonesia bersiaga merawat jemaah haji lansia yang memiliki keluhan kesehatan.
Selain kunjungan ke kamar jemaah haji, petugas haji juga mendampingi jemaah lansia saat melakukan rangkaian ibadah haji.
Tim Pengawas Haji Komisi VII DPR RI menemukan bahwa catering makanan untuk Jemaah haji Indonesia lebih dominan karbohidrat dibandingkan protein.
Padahal fakta di lapangan, Jemaah haji Indonesia lebih membutuhkan asupan protein yang lebih besar dibandingkan karbohidrat.
Selain itu, Tim Pengawas juga menyoroti bahan baku yang digunakan untuk catering makanan Jemaah Indonesia.
Temuan Timwas ternyata sebagian besar bahan baku yang digunakan merupakan barang impor, salah satunya beras impor dari Thailand.
Kedepannya Timwas akan memastikan bahan baku beras yang digunakan adalah beras produksi dalam negeri.
