London: 522 Arrested In Pro-Palestine Action Protest Outside Parliament | Firstpost America | N18G

Chaos erupted across London over the weekend as hundreds came out on the streets to protest against the UK government's recent decision to ban the group "Palestine Action". At least 522 people were arrested as protesters filled the square outside the Parliament. The UK Parliament passed a law last month banning the "Palestine Action" and made it a crime to publicly support the group, with a punishment of up to 14 years in prison. Supporters of the group accuse the government of illegally restricting freedom of speech. According to official figures, half of the people arrested in protests related to Palestine Action were aged 60 or above. The arrests drew criticism from the United Nations and groups such as Amnesty International and Greenpeace. Meanwhile, there were counterprotests too, with those against the Palestine Acton hitting the streets. These protesters also opposed the UK government's decision to recognise a Palestinian State in September unless Israel meets certain conditions. Israel's war in Gaza has brought domestic disorder to the UK. How will the Keir Starmer government deal with it? Watch this video for details.
