PLO | Bộ trưởng Lương Tam Quang: Tổ bảo vệ ANTT cơ sở là ‘cánh tay nối dài’ của lực lượng công anSáng 1-7, tại Quảng trường Hồ Chí Minh (TP Vinh, Nghệ An), UBND tỉnh Nghệ An tổ chức Lễ ra mắt lực lượng tham gia bảo vệ an ninh, trật tự ở cơ sở. Lễ ra mắt lực lượng tham gia bảo vệ an ninh, trật tự ở cơ sở được tổ chức đồng loạt tại 20 huyện, thị xã ở Nghệ An với hơn 20.000 đại biểu, lực lượng tham gia. Tỉnh Nghệ An đã triển khai thực hiện nghiêm túc, kịp thời, hiệu quả Luật lực lượng tham gia bảo vệ an ninh, trật tự ở cơ sở, chỉ đạo rà soát, thành lập 3.797 tổ bảo vệ an ninh, trật tự tại tất cả các khối, xóm, thôn, bản.
Phát biểu chỉ đạo tại buổi lễ, Thượng tướng Lương Tam Quang, Ủy viên Ban Chấp hành Trung ương Đảng, Bí thư Đảng ủy Công an Trung ương, Bộ trưởng Bộ Công an nhấn mạnh: “Việc Quốc hội ban hành Luật lực lượng tham gia bảo vệ an ninh, trật tự ở cơ sở có ý nghĩa rất quan trọng, là cột mốc đánh dấu sự ra đời về mặt pháp lý để tiếp tục xây dựng, củng cố, duy trì các lực lượng tham gia bảo vệ an ninh, trật tự ở cơ sở, đáp ứng yêu cầu, nhiệm vụ trong tình hình mới”. Bộ trưởng Bộ Công an Lương Tam Quang nhận định: Tổ bảo vệ ANTT cơ sở tại tất cả các khối, xóm, thôn, bản là “cánh tay nối dài” của lực lượng công an các cấp.
