Saudi Arabia reached out to the Houthis to ask what it would take to stop the attacks, and the answer was $51 billion plus recognition as Yemen’s rulers. Saudi Arabia’s Makkah Pact partners, Pakistan and Türkiye, are refusing to fight inside Yemen. The war has already killed an Indian pilgrim at Riyadh airport and put India’s oil route through the Red Sea at risk.
