La 8ª Cumbre de Ciudades Hermanas China-EE. UU. se celebró en San Francisco, bajo el lema Esfuerzos conjuntos para un desarrollo urbano de alta calidad.Más de 310 delegados se reunieron en San Francisco para celebrar la 8ª Cumbre de Ciudades Hermanas China-EE. UU. En ella, los asistentes intercambiaron ideas sobre crecimiento verde, gobernanza urbana, turismo cultural y educación. China y Estados Unidos han establecido 288 pares de provincias, estados y ciudades hermanas. Ambas partes firmaron cinco acuerdos de cooperación y presentaron 31 proyectos en la cumbre, que abarcan los vínculos e intercambios entre ciudades hermanas.
