Небо над Києвом регулярно перетворюється на поле бою. Десятки дронів летять у напрямку міста, а разом із ними зростає і напруга, яку відчувають усі, хто виходить на чергування.Добровольці столичної «Мрії» займають свої позиції на даху багатоповерхівки й спостерігають за кожним рухом у темряві. Удень вони звичайні люди, у кожного своя робота й справи, та вночі вони — частина оборони столиці. В очах держави вони не є військовослужбовцями, та це не заважає їм упевнено брати до рук зброю, щоб захищати небо.
Журналісти hromadske провели кілька ночей на позиції ДФТГ, аби зрозуміти, чим саме займаються добровольці та чому для них збити «шахед» — не завжди досяжна ціль. Вже пізніше ми зрозуміли, що зафіксували одну з наймасштабніших атак на столицю. Повітряні цілі збивали просто над нами.
