Les incroyables images du télescope Vera Rubin ! | Scope | LIVE | ARTE
Le premier volet de cette émission est consacré au télescope Vera Rubin. Scope revient sur les images spectaculaires qui nous sont parvenues le 23 juin, sur l’aventure humaine derrière la fabrication de cet instrument hors norme, et sur la manière dont il pourrait bouleverser notre vision de l’univers.Dans la deuxième partie, le plateau de Scope sur ARTE tamise les lumières pour laisser plus de place à Pierre, en direct du centre d’astronomie avec les médiateurs. Ensemble, nous réalisons des observations du ciel en direct. Nous expliquons comment fonctionne un télescope et comment nous pointons une cible. L’objectif est de visualiser des objets et de refaire des images du ciel. Le public est invité à choisir les objets à observer. En parallèle, un astrophotographe colorise une image qu’il a lui-même réalisée d’une des cibles déjà observées par Vera Rubin, afin d’expliquer les techniques de retouche d’images d’astrophotographie.
