José María Aznar ejerció como presidente del Gobierno de España entre 1996 y 2004. Licenciado en Derecho e inspector de Hacienda. Su mandato se caracterizó por la consolidación económica que permitió la entrada de España en el euro, una política de déficit cero y una postura firme contra el terrorismo de ETA, grupo del que sobrevivió a un atentado en 1995. Su etapa final estuvo marcada por el polémico apoyo a la Guerra de Irak y la gestión de los atentados del 11-M. Actualmente, continúa influyendo en la esfera pública como presidente de la Fundación FAES y conferenciante internacional, siendo una figura clave del pensamiento conservador actual. Esta es su primera intervención en un podcast.
