Namun, langkah Moskow ini membuat salah satu negara NATO siaga lantaran serangannya menyasar wilayah yang berbatasan dengan negara tersebut.
Negara anggota NATO tersebut diketahui ialah Rumania.
Dikutip dari Tribunnews.com, Rumania dilaporkan menerbangkan dua jet tempur pada Selasa (1/7/2025) tengah malam.
Langkah ini diambil setelah Rusia melancarkan serangan pesawat tak berawak baru di dekat perbatasan negara tersebut dengan Ukraina.
Jet tempur jenis F-16 ini lepas landas dari pangkalan udara utama di sebelah timur ibu kota Rumania pada pukul 23.15 waktu setempat.
Diketahui, dalam serangan tersebut, Moskow menargetkan infrastruktur pelabuhan di Izmail, Ukraina.
Rusia sendiri telah beberapa kali menyerang pelabuhan Izmail yang terletak tepat di seberang wilayah Rumania.
Sementara dalam serangan terbaru ini, Rusia disebut menggunakan drone Shahed buatan Iran.
Sekitar 12 hingga 13 drone terdeteksi menargetkan wilayah tersebut.
Oleksiy Goncharenko, anggota parlemen Ukraina dari wilayah Odesa menyebut, tak ada korban jiwa yang dilaporkan dalam serangan tersebut.
