FINANZKOMPROMISS: Einigung in Sicht! Bund und Länder planen neue Verteilung der Kostenlasten!Bund und Länder haben sich offenbar auf eine neue Verteilung finanzieller Lasten geeinigt. Der Kompromiss könnte Ende Juni offiziell beschlossen werden. Kern der Einigung ist: Wer neue Leistungen beschließt, soll sie auch bezahlen. Wenn der Bund also neue Aufgaben für Länder oder Kommunen vorgibt, soll er dafür künftig auch stärker finanziell einstehen. Der Bund will diese Regel offenbar akzeptieren, allerdings nur bei neuen Gesetzen, die zusätzliche Ausgaben verursachen. Besiegelt werden könnte diese Einigung am 25. Juni beim Treffen von Kanzler Merz mit den Ministerpräsidenten.
