Kenyan police have uncovered new suspected mass graves near Shakahola Forest, the site of the world’s deadliest cult massacre. Over the past 10 days, investigators exhumed at least a dozen suspected bodies and collected dozens of human remains from shallow graves in Kwa Binzaro village, close to where more than 450 victims were found in 2023. The Shakahola tragedy was linked to self-proclaimed pastor Paul Mackenzie, who allegedly ordered followers to starve to death to “meet Jesus.” Mackenzie and over 90 associates face terrorism, murder, and child torture charges, while fresh discoveries highlight the enduring horrors of the cult.Also on the show:
