GROSSRAZZIA IN BERLIN: „Das nehmen die in Kauf“ – Ermittler kontrollieren Shishas und Vape-Shops der Clans

Bei einer Großrazzia in Berlin haben Steuerfahndung, Polizei, Zoll und weitere Behörden zahlreiche Shishas und Vape-Shops kontrolliert. Ermittler stellten Hunderte unversteuerte E-Zigaretten sowie illegalen Wasserpfeifentabak sicher.

Nach Angaben von Finanzsenator Stefan Evers sollen regelmäßige Nadelstiche die Einnahmequellen krimineller Clans treffen. Mit Shisha-Tabak ohne Steuerbanderole machen die Clans laut Ermittlern schätzungsweise 350 bis 500 Millionen Euro Umsatz pro Jahr in Berlin. Bei E-Zigaretten seien es bis zu 500 Millionen Euro.

WELT-Politikredakteur Nikolaus Doll war bei der Großrazzia dabei. Neben Polizei, LKA, Steuerfahndung und Zoll kontrollierten auch Mitarbeiter des Ordnungsamts die Geschäfte. Sie prüften Waren, Beschäftigte und die Einhaltung der Regeln.

Illegale Vapes lagen laut Doll teilweise offen in den Läden. Einige Packungen trugen keine deutsche Steuerbanderole, andere eine gefälschte. Die Bilanz der Nacht: Ein Steuerschaden in fünfstelliger Höhe sei vermieden worden. Zugleich erforderte die Kontrolle zahlreiche Beamte und lange Fahrzeugkontrollen.
