Upshot-Knothole Harry

The United States conducted Operation Upshot-Knothole, which included a nuclear weapons test called “Harry”. It occurred at 04:05 p.m. on May 19, 1953, at Yucca Flat at the Nevada Test Site. The test was sponsored by the United States National Laboratory, which is based in Los Alamos. The test bomb, dubbed Hamlet, exploded on top of a 300-foot tower. The device produced a yield of 32 kilotons. The device's diameter was 56 inches, and its length was 66 inches. It weighed 4 short tons. Ted Taylor designed the device at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in the United States of America, and it stands out as the most efficient pure fission design with a yield of less than 100 kilotons ever tested. The design incorporated a revolutionary hollow core concept which was known as the "radical implosion system," and it aimed to reduce the amount of fissionable elements in the weapon's core while producing a reasonably high yield.

Groom Lake

Groom Lake is special because this is where the famed Area 51 is located, a place where numerous UFO aficionados have claimed to see aliens and alien spaceships. Out of all the sightings, Roswell remains the most famous, but even though the 1947 Roswell, New Mexico event involving little green men and unidentified flying objects may garner most extraterrestrial storylines, believers say a lesser-known 1953 "crash" in the desert near Kingman rivals in scale, historical impact, and X-Files intrigue, assuming you believe in such things. This is when the alien J-Rod became part of the discussions, and we will talk more about him later. According to some analysts, Arizona has at least a half-dozen UFO crash-retrieval instances, with the Kingman crash being the most well-known and verified. In fact, it is one of the best-verified UFO crashes in the United States, ranking among the top ten. Receive SMS online on sms24.me
