GIEßEN: Sorgen vor Neugründung der AfD-Jugend! Antifa kündigt Randale an: "Gießen soll brennen"In Gießen wächst die Sorge vor massiven Ausschreitungen, nachdem die als gesichert rechtsextremistisch eingestufte AfD am 29. November in den Hessenhallen ihre neue Jugendorganisation gründen will. Aus dem gesamten Bundesgebiet haben linksradikale Gruppen Proteste und Blockaden angekündigt, bis zu 1.000 Aktivisten werden erwartet – begleitet von hunderten Bussen sowie zahlreichen Anreisen per Auto und Bahn. Viele Bürger zeigen sich angesichts der Drohungen beunruhigt und meiden die Innenstadt. Händler planen, ihre Geschäfte geschlossen zu lassen, da sie erhebliche Umsatzeinbußen im wichtigen Weihnachtsgeschäft fürchten. Hotels und Gastronomen stehen unter Druck, mehrere Betriebe haben Reservierungen storniert. Die Polizei bereitet einen Großeinsatz vor und erhält Unterstützung aus anderen Bundesländern sowie von der Bundespolizei. Gießen steht ein belastetes erstes Adventswochenende bevor.
