La Provincia di Trento ha investito ben 55 milioni di euro per la costruzione della nuova funivia tra San Martino di Castrozza e il Passo Rolle, un’opera considerata strategica per lo sviluppo turistico e la mobilità sostenibile del Primiero. Il progetto, presentato oggi, prevede la realizzazione di due cabinovie integrate da dieci posti lungo un tracciato di 4,6 chilometri. Il nuovo impianto consentirà di raggiungere il Passo Rolle da Bellaria in soli 13 minuti, senza cambiare cabina, collegando le aree di Tognola, Ces, Val Cigolera e Passo Rolle in un unico carosello sciistico. L’infrastruttura, con vista sulle Pale di San Martino, avrà una capacità di 1.500 persone all’ora, estendibile a 1.800, e sarà operativa sia in inverno sia in estate. A Prà delle Nasse sorgerà un centro servizi con biglietteria, info point, noleggio, scuola di sci, negozi e ristoro. L’obiettivo della Provincia è ridurre il traffico su gomma, migliorare l’accessibilità del territorio e rafforzarne l’attrattività turistica. L’entrata in funzione è prevista nel 2029.
