Verse 1
I bow to the Lord of all, the Supreme Lord, the consort of Goddess Parvati, the Lord of the universe, adorned with the king of serpents. I worship Sambashiva, the three-eyed Lord, revered in all the three worlds.
Verse 2
I worship the Lord clothed in sacred ash, the divine One worshipped with Bilva leaves, the moon-crested Lord, the Supreme Self who beautifies the entire universe, Lord Shiva, the auspicious Shankara.
Verse 3
I bow to the compassionate Lord who delights in residing upon Mount Kailasa, whose left side is eternally adorned by Goddess Parvati, who is worshipped through the sacred syllable Om and adored by devoted seekers.
Verse 4
I worship the destroyer of Cupid's pride, the Lord of Dakshayani (Parvati), the Supreme Being who transcends yet contains all qualities, whose very form is divine grace and eternal bliss for His devotees.
Verse 5
I bow to the Lord whose matted locks are sanctified by the celestial River Ganga, whose forehead shines with the crescent moon, and whose third eye blazes like the fire that destroys ignorance.
