Was andere aus ihren Gärten am liebsten für immer verbannen würden, baut er gezielt an: Unkräuter, oder wie es korrekt heißt: Wild-Beikräuter. Werner Klemme ist Landwirt und hat sich auf die Züchtung und den Verkauf eben dieser Kräuter spezialisiert.Heute sät er Löwenzahn aus und erntet die Samen. Für vieles muss er spezielle Maschinen entwickeln, da herkömmliche Erntemaschinen nicht geeignet sind. Wer schon mal einen verblühten Löwenzahn in der Hand hatte, weiß, wie schnell sich die Samen der “Pusteblume” verteilen.
Und wer kauft dann die Samen der Wildkräuter? Das sind mehr, als man zunächst denken würde. Ein großer Abnehmer sind zum Beispiel Straßenbaufirmen, die massenhaft Unkraut brauchen, um die Straßenränder wieder zu begrünen.
