E’ finito il Ramadan, il mese sacro per la comunità islamica, che oggi festeggia l’Eid al Fitr. Ottomila persone circa hanno affollato il prato del Quercione alle Cascine per la preghiera collettiva. «Oggi è una giornata di festa nonostante le guerre nel mondo - ha detto l’imam di Firenze Izzedin Elzir - In questa giornata di festa dopo il digiuno, invitiamo tutti i governanti del mondo a digiunare dalle guerre e dalle violenze. Noi siamo contrari a qualsiasi guerra, altre guerre non fanno altro che aumentare guerre e violenza, e’ dimostrato dagli errori del passato».
