Di antaranya adalah prosedur penetapan tersangka Pegi Setiawan yang dianggapnya sudah sesuai.
Polda Jawa Barat menggunakan kesaksian dari Sudirman untuk mentersangkakan Pegi Setiawan.
Hal ini seusai Sudirman mengaku bahwa Pegi Setiawan ada di TKP.
Polda Jabar juga menggunakan kesaksian dari terpidana Eko yang mengaku bahwa Pegi Setiawan memukul korban hingga meninggal dunia.
Selain itu, kesaksian dari Aep juga jadi penguat kepolisian.
Yang mana, Polda Jabar menuturkan, Aep mengaku melihat sosok para terpidana di TKP.
Terkait bukti langsung Pegi Setiawan bersalah, Polda Jabar menuturkan bahwa pihaknya tidak mengejar kesaksian langsung kejadian pembunuhan.
Polda Jabar juga menuturkan bahwa saksi mahkota sudah jadi bukti kuat dugaan keterlibatan Pegi Setiawan.
Mendengarkan paparan dari Polda Jawa Barat tersebut, publik yang mengikuti persidangan juga merespons.
Berbagai narasi ketidakpercayaan pada polisi dikeluarkan.
Bahkan banyak juga publik yang kemudian menyebut akan demo besar-besaran.
