Entra en vigor el nuevo arancel del 50 % de EE. UU. a los productos de India

El nuevo arancel de importación del 50 % impuesto por la administración del presidente estadounidense Donald Trump a los productos indios ha entrado oficialmente en vigor. Washington había asignado inicialmente un arancel del 25 % a los productos provenientes de India, pero duplicó la tasa como castigo por la continua compra de petróleo ruso por parte de Nueva Deli. Trump acusó a India de financiar indirectamente la guerra de Moscú en Ucrania. Las fuertes tarifas se suman a una medida paralela que afecta a pequeños envíos. A partir del 29 de agosto, se suspende la exención arancelaria estadounidense a los llamados "envíos minimis", paquetes valorados en hasta 800 dólares estadounidenses. En respuesta, India se ha unido a más de una veintena de países que han decidido paralizar de forma temporal el servicio postal de este tipo de mercancías a Estados Unidos. #EEUU #India #arancel #dm #xw
