In due anni e mezzo avrebbe curato la consegna di oltre diecimila capi d’abbigliamento contraffatti, con un profitto di oltre mezzo milione di euro. L’operazione «Maglie larghe» della guardia di finanza di Torino ha smascherato il giro d’affari di un imprenditore di Leinì. Nei suoi confronti è stato eseguito un sequestro preventivo per oltre 700 mila euro. L’operazione, curata dal nucleo di polizia economico-finanziaria, è scattata con il monitoraggio dei siti di vendite online e con le segnalazioni delle società titolari dei marchi contraffatti. L’imprenditore era molto attivo nel commercio in Italia e all’estero di magliette di note squadre di calcio e basket. Gli investigatori hanno ricostruito il suo modus operandi. L’imprenditore era titolare di tre siti web, dove venivano pubblicate le foto dei prodotti messi in vendita. Una piattaforma e-commerce riceveva gli ordini di acquisto con una procedura automatizzata, le maglie venivano quindi prodotte in Cina e spedite direttamente al cliente. L’invio in modalità «drop-shipping» consentiva all’imprenditore di far consegnare i prodotti senza farli transitare dal proprio magazzino. Secondo i finanzieri, l’uomo avrebbe autoriciclato il profitto di oltre mezzo milione di euro ricavato dalle vendite: gli incassi sarebbero serviti a comprare ulteriori capi contraffatti da fornitori stranieri, estinguere il mutuo per la casa in cui abita e investire in strumenti finanziari.
