Abschiebezentren im Ausland: Das plant die EU
Die EU hat eines ihrer wohl umstrittensten Projekte auf den Weg gebracht: Abschiebezentren für Flüchtlinge außerhalb der EU. Dorthin sollen abgelehnte Asylbewerberinnen und -bewerber abgeschoben werden, deren Herkunft nicht geklärt ist.Auch Geflüchtete, die von ihren Herkunftsländern nicht zurückgenommen werden, könnten in diese Zentren kommen. EU‑Vertreter sprechen von einer dringend nötigen Reform. Kritiker wie Pro Asyl warnen dagegen: „Aus den Augen, aus dem Sinn“ sei keine Lösung.
