Una violenta tempesta ha colpito Cremona nel pomeriggio di venerdì 28 agosto, con raffiche di vento fortissime e una grandinata di eccezionale intensità. In pochi minuti la città è stata investita da chicchi di grandine grandi anche come arance, provocando danni a edifici, auto e strade. Il bilancio è di 41 feriti.
