Para warga sipil palestina seperti berada di ambang hidup dan mati meski mereka sudah berada di tempat yang disebut 'aman' di Gaza.
Kengerian terasa saat asap membubung seusai serangan udara itu menghantam bangunan sekolah.
Orang-orang berhamburan ke lokasi untuk mencari anak-anak mereka.
"Saya memohon kepada seluruh dunia, semua negara, untuk mengasihani kami, kasihanilah kami, lihat dan dukung kami," kata seorang warga yang tidak diketahui identitasnya.
Pejabat kesehatan setempat mengatakan, sedikitnya ada 12 orang tewas dalam sejumlah serangan baru di Gaza tengah dan selatan.
