174 тисячі квадратних кілометрів небезпеки: як розміновують Україну
Україна залишається однією з найбільш замінованих країн світу. За оцінками уряду, після початку повномасштабної війни потенційно небезпечними вважалися 174 тисячі квадратних кілометрів території. За два роки саперам уже вдалося повернути до безпечного використання понад 40 тисяч квадратних кілометрів, однак найбільш забрудненими вибухонебезпечними предметами залишаються Харківщина, Херсонщина та Миколаївщина.В Україні працюють понад 130 операторів гуманітарного розмінування. Допомагають їм сучасні машини, роботи та новітні українські розробки, однак найнебезпечнішу роботу, як і сто років тому, виконують сапери вручну.
Про те, як відбувається гуманітарне розмінування в Україні Радіо Свобода поспілкувалося з заступником міністра економіки Ігорем Безкаравайним. Він відповідає за напрямки гуманітарного розмінування та відновлення українських земель.
