Kesaksian ABK Kapal Ikan yang Terbakar di Tengah Laut, 3 Hari Terombang-ambing di Tengah Samudera

Akibat peristiwa ini, satu anak buah kapal (ABK) meninggal dunia, sementara tujuh lainnya mengalami luka bakar serius. Para korban baru berhasil dievakuasi ke daratan Kabupaten Banyuwangi, Sabtu (11/10/2025) siang. Proses evakuasi dilakukan setelah kapal KM Victory menemukan dan menolong para ABK yang selamat.
Kasatpolairud Polresta Banyuwangi, Kompol Muchammad Wahyudi, menjelaskan bahwa kebakaran terjadi di koordinat lintang 11° dan bujur 118°, tepatnya di kawasan Samudera Hindia, jauh di selatan Pulau Sumbawa.
“Tepatnya di Samudera Hindia, di bawah Pulau Sumbawa,” ujar Wahyudi, Sabtu (11/10/2025). Menurut Wahyudi, kapal tersebut membawa 25 ABK. Selain korban meninggal dan tujuh ABK yang luka bakar, seluruh kru lainnya dinyatakan selamat. “Korban dan ABK dievakuasi oleh KM Victory dan dibawa ke Pelabuhan Muncar, Banyuwangi,” tambahnya.
Setibanya di pelabuhan, para korban langsung dilarikan ke RSUD Blambangan untuk mendapatkan penanganan medis. Berdasarkan pantauan di rumah sakit, korban meninggal telah dibawa ke kamar jenazah, sementara korban luka tengah dirawat di Instalasi Gawat Darurat (IGD). Beberapa di antara korban tampak mengalami luka bakar parah di tubuh bagian atas dan masih menjalani perawatan intensif.
