KARANGANYAR, KOMPAS.TV - Seorang pencuri sepeda motor ditangkap polisi di Ring Road Mojosongo, Karanganyar, Jawa Tengah.Pelaku ditangkap saat menjual motor curian melalui media sosial.
Terungkapnya pencurian sepeda motor berawal dari unggahan penjualan motor di media sosial yang tak sengaja dilihat sang pemilik.
Penemuan ini kemudian dilaporkan pemilik ke Polres Sragen.
Pelaku ditangkap di Ring Road Mojosongo, Karanganyar, setelah korban berpura-pura ingin membeli motor.
Selain satu sepeda motor, polisi juga menyita barang bukti berupa kunci, STNK, sisa uang tunai milik korban yang disimpan di jok motor, serta barang-barang milik pelaku.
Pelaku kini ditahan di Mapolres Sragen untuk pemeriksaan lebih lanjut. Pelaku dijerat Pasal 362 KUHP tentang pencurian dengan hukuman maksimal lima tahun penjara.
