El presidente de Estados Unidos, Donald Trump, afirma que funcionarios estadounidenses e iraníes han intercambiado información a través de mediadores.

En una rueda de prensa, el mandatario aseguró que Estados Unidos ganará la guerra con Irán muy pronto. Según informes, las próximas conversaciones se centrarían en una versión modificada de la última propuesta de siete días presentada por Irán, que Trump rechazó el 26 de septiembre.

El presidente estadounidense también negó un informe según el cual había ofrecido aliviar las sanciones contra Irán y liberar fondos congelados a cambio de concesiones en materia nuclear. El ministro de Relaciones Exteriores de Irán, Seyed Abás Araqchí, se encuentra en Nueva York tras participar en la Asamblea General de las Naciones Unidas y señaló que Irán espera recibir la respuesta de Estados Unidos a su última propuesta y a sus condiciones para restablecer el tráfico en el estrecho de Ormuz. #EEUU #Irán #xw
