Immaginate la scena: un utente non proprio esperto di tecnologia, magari con una certa età o con l’aria spaesata di chi non passa di certo le giornate dei negozi di elettronica. Davanti a sé, due smartphone: un iPhone da 1.600 euro e un Moto G35 da 160 euro. La differenza di prezzo è abissale. Ma lo è anche quella di qualità e prestazioni?
L’utente prende in mano entrambi e guarda l’etichetta informativa, quella nuova targata Unione Europea, che, almeno in teoria, dovrebbe aiutarlo a orientarsi. E qui arriva la sorpresa: la classe energetica è pressoché identica, la durata della batteria simile (anzi, a vantaggio del più economico Motorola), e la resistenza alle cadute vede il Moto G35 in classe B, migliore rispetto alla classe C dell’iPhone. In più, il modello da 160 euro è più facile da riparare, ha una resistenza discreta alla polvere e all’acqua, e quando si scansiona il QR code per scoprire qualcosa in più, la situazione si ribalta ancora di più: l’iPhone dichiara un solo anno di aggiornamenti software garantiti, contro i cinque anni di update e sette di patch di sicurezza del Motorola. Allora, viene spontaneo chiedersi: chi sceglierebbe ancora l’iPhone?
