Pasalnya nama kapal tersebut bernama JKW dan Dewi Iriana.
Hal ini yang menimbulkan spekulasi warganet dan menyeret nama Presiden ke-7 RI, Joko Widodo.
Namun tampaknya warganet hanya cocoklogi dengan singkatan JKW dan Iriana yang disematkan dalam nama kapal.
Diketahui JKW sendiri adalah singkatan dari Jasa Konstruksi Wisma.
Menurut situs resmi Direktorat Perkapalan dan Kepelautan Kementerian Perhubungan, memang benar ada kapal dengan nama TB JKW Mahakam dan TB Dewi Iriana.
TB sendiri adalah singkatan dari tug boat.
Ada delapan kapal bernama JKW Mahakam yang dimiliki empat perusahaan berbeda.
Sebagian besar JKW Mahakam tersebut milik PT Pelita Samudera Sreeya (PSS), anak buah PT IMC Pelita Logistik Tbk.
PT PSS ternyata baru didirikan pada tahun 2023 dan fokus pada bisnis angkutan barang tambang.
Sementara Dewi Iriana adalah jenis kapal barge (tongkang) yang digunakan untuk mengangkut barang atau kargo dalam jumlah besar.
Perusahaan PT PSS di bawah perusahaan induk PT PSSI masih mendominasi menjadi pemilik kapal tersebut.
Artinya hingga kini belum ada bukti yang kredibel kapal JKW Mahakam dan Dewi Iriana memiliki keterkaitan dengan keluarga Joko Widodo.
