L'AIAC CHIEDE LA SOSPENSIONE DI ISRAELE DALLE COMPETIZIONI INTERNAZIONALI

Lo riporta l’agenzia #ANSA, che conferma l’invio di una lettera al presidente della #Figc, Gabriele #Gravina, per sollecitare un intervento presso Uefa e Fifa.
Nella lettera, firmata dall’intero direttivo, l’Aiac esprime profonda preoccupazione per la guerra in corso contro la popolazione di #Gaza e le sue gravi conseguenze umanitarie. Da qui la richiesta di una sospensione temporanea di Israele, come segnale chiaro di condanna e responsabilità da parte del mondo del calcio.
La presa di posizione arriva in vista delle prossime qualificazioni ai #Mondiali, nelle quali l’Italia è attesa a sfidare proprio Israele tra settembre e ottobre. Un’occasione (secondo gli allenatori) per trasformare una semplice partita in un gesto politico e morale.
