WISMAR: Jetzt äußern sich die Wal-Retter! SO geht es Buckelwal Timmy!Die „Free Willy“-Crew war am Nachmittag für etwa zwei Stunden beim gestrandeten Buckelwal. Am Abend gaben die Wal-Helfer ein kurzes Update. Tierärztin Dr. Kirsten Tönnies: „Wenn man sich überlegt, dass der Wal dort 3 Wochen herumlag, kann man sich wundern, dass der Gesundheitszustand noch so gut ist.“ Der Zustand seiner Haut habe sich gebessert. Klaus Kraft von der Tierrettung Mecklenburg-Vorpommern: „Im Moment ist der Wal tiefenentspannt. Er hat auch heute nochmal etwas zu essen angeboten bekommen und das Maul ein Stück aufgemacht. Er kann das Essen aufnehmen.“
