TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM - Sumber keamanan otoritas Israel mengaku tahu persis di mana lokasi Iran menyimpan persediaan uranium yang diperkaya untuk kepentingan pembuatan senjata nuklir. Namun Israel tidak akan menargetkan stok uranium tersebut karena menghindari potensi bencana radiasi nuklir.

Dilansir dari Kantor Berita Saudi Al Hadath, Rabu (25/6/2025), pejabat Israel tersebut tidak secara gamblang menyebut letak persis lokasi persediaan uranium Iran. Namun secara tegas pejabat tersebut menyatakan, sebagian besar uranium itu terkubur di bawah puing-puing bangunan di wilayah Iran.

Sampai saat ini, tidak ada serangan Israel terhadap fasilitas nuklir yang dikatakan telah menyebabkan peristiwa kontaminasi bahan nuklir yang besar dan berbahaya bagi warga sipil Iran.

Status stok uranium milik Iran ini menjadi penting sekaligus dianggap sebagai masalah. Awal pekan ini, juru bicara IDF Effie Defrin menyebut militer zionis memantau secara cermat potensi Iran memindahkan uranium yang diperkayanya dari lokais yang rusak ke lokasi lain. Spekulasi ini terus berkembang di antara pejabat Israel.

Seperti yang dilaporkan New York Times bahwa 880 pon uranium telah dihilangkan hingga kemurnian 60 persen, atau 30 persen di bawah kebutuhan untuk pembuatan senjata nuklir.

Citra satelit yang diambil beberapa hari sebelum serangan Amerika Serikat di tiga situs pengayaan nuklir Iran juga memperlihatkan antrean truk-truk besar di jalan dekat lokasi pintu masuk fasilitas tersebut. Wakil Presiden AS JD Vance juga tak bisa mengonfirmasi bagaimana status persediaan uranium milik Iran.
