Rudal yang dinamai “Palestina 2” itu disebut memiliki kecepatan hipersonik melebihi Mach 5.
Akibatnya menyebabkan kepanikan luas di kalangan pemukim Zionis.
Dilaporkan jutaan warga Israel mengungsi ke tempat perlindungan dan bahkan mengganggu aktivitas bandara.
Dikutip dari Jerusalem Post, Houthi menegaskan aksi tersebut sebagai bentuk dukungan berkelanjutan bagi rakyat Palestina.
Sementara itu, Yaman mengecam genosida terhadap Palestina.
Serangan ini diklaim Houthi sebagai bentuk solidaritas terhadap rakyat Palestina dan mengincar target strategis Israel.
Kelompok Houthi juga mengancam akan terus menyerang, termasuk menargetkan Bandara Ben-Gurion dan Eilat.
Mereka menyatakan akan melanjutkan penggunaan rudal hipersonik dan balistik dalam mendukung pejuang Hamas.
