At Starbase, Pad 2 continues active testing of the Ship Quick Disconnect arm, booster umbilicals, chopsticks, and tank farm systems, while Pad 1 officially transitions from demolition back to full construction, making way for a brand-new flame trench and expanded tank farm. Meanwhile, infrastructure work continues across the launch site, including air separation unit preparation and foundation drilling.
Over on the Florida Space Coast, SpaceX is making rapid progress at LC-39A, installing hold-down arms, booster quick disconnect hardware, and connecting major propellant systems — all while NASA prepares nearby for Artemis II. Construction is also ramping up at SLC-37, where groundwork is underway for another Starship launch pad.
Inside the production sites, attention turns to Booster 19, Ship 39, and future vehicles, with ongoing heatshield tile experiments, cryogenic testing preparations, and test tank qualification. At McGregor, Raptor testing remains intense, including long-duration burns and recovery work following a recent test anomaly.
From launch pads and mega-structures to vehicles and engines, this is your complete Starship Update.
