RIESENÜBERRASCHUNG AN DER GRENZE: Warum kommen immer weniger Flüchtlinge nach Deutschland?Die Zahl der Asylanträge in der EU, Norwegen und der Schweiz ist im ersten Halbjahr deutlich gesunken – um 23% im Vergleich zum Vorjahr. Besonders in Deutschland gingen die Anträge um 43% zurück. Spanien und Frankreich sind nun die Hauptzielländer, während Deutschland vor allem für Afghanen und Syrer attraktiv bleibt. Polen hat mit strikten Maßnahmen an der Grenze zu Belarus die Asylzahlen drastisch reduziert. Dennoch bleibt der Migrationsdruck hoch, und die Routen verlagern sich zunehmend, etwa über Litauen und Lettland.
