El presidente de Estados Unidos, Donald Trump, firmó el jueves una orden ejecutiva para modificar nuevamente las tasas arancelarias con casi 70 socios comerciales. La medida impone aranceles ad valorem adicionales sobre productos de algunos de estos socios.La mayoría de las nuevas tasas arancelarias oscilan entre el 10 y el 40 %, según un anexo incluido en el comunicado de la Casa Blanca. Los nuevos aranceles entrarán en vigor 7 días después de la fecha de emisión de la orden ejecutiva, con algunas excepciones por motivos logísticos.
