Di balik kemegahan adegan aksi di film-film Indonesia, tersembunyi kerja keras para kru Special Effects (SFX) dan stunt yang jarang dikenal publik. Mereka kerap dipandang sebagai bagian teknis semata — padahal peran mereka sangat vital dalam menciptakan pengalaman sinematik yang mendebarkan dan nyata di layar lebar.Namun, di balik ledakan, tembakan, dan aksi berbahaya itu, para pekerja SFX dan stunt justru menghadapi risiko tinggi tanpa perlindungan yang memadai. Minimnya standar keselamatan kerja, ketiadaan jalur pendidikan formal, serta lemahnya pengakuan profesi membuat mereka bekerja di zona abu-abu industri — tanpa jaminan, tanpa sistem yang melindungi.
Dokumenter ini menelusuri realitas para pekerja SFX dan stunt di industri film Indonesia. Lewat kisah para praktisi dan wawasan dari dunia pendidikan, film ini membuka tabir dunia yang selama ini berada di balik sorotan kamera.
