Penghentian dilakukan Badan Gizi Nasional (BGN) seusai viralnya porsi makanan bergizi (MBG) yang dinilai tidak layak.
Pelaksana Tugas (Plt) Kepala Disdikpora Buleleng, Dewa Made Sudiarta, mengatakan penghentian ini berdasarkan evaluasi dari BGN.
Ia menilai layanan tersebut tidak sesuai standar.
Diketahui terdapat surat yang menyebutkan SPPG Pemaron tidak diperbolehkan beroperasi sampai evaluasi selesai, tertanggal (4/9/2025).
Wakil Pj Koordinator BGN Buleleng, Ketut Ngurah Arya Krisna Satria Darma, menjelaskan program MBG dijalankan melalui kerja sama dengan yayasan penyedia layanan.
Ia menambahkan setiap SPPG memiliki standar pelayanan berbeda sesuai wilayah.
Menu makanan juga diatur dalam klasifikasi tertentu berdasarkan kelompok penerima manfaat.
