TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM - Pengelola tambang galian C di Gunung Kuda, Cirebon, berinisial AK ditetapkan sebagai tersangka.
Sosok AK diketahui merupakan warga Blok III, Desa Bobos, Dukupuntang, Jawa Barat dan kini berusia 59 tahun.
Hal itu terjadi seusai AK mengabaikan dua surat larangan resmi dari Dinas Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral (ESDM).
Surat peringatan itu dikeluarkan pada 6 Januari dan 19 Maret 2025 kepada Koperasi Pondok Pesantren Al-Azhariyah, pemegang Izin Usaha Pertambangan (IUP).
Meski telah diperingatkan, AK tetap menjalankan operasional tambang tanpa memedulikan keselamatan kerja.
Kelalaian ini memicu longsor yang menimbulkan korban jiwa, terluka hingga kerusakan alat berat.
Selain AK, Polresta Cirebon telah menetapkan tersangka lainnya berinisial AR pengawas tambang.
Sosok AR (35) merupakan warga Desa Girinata, Kecamatan Dukupuntang, Kabupaten Cirebon.
Dikutip dari Tribun Jabar, informasi itu dikonfirmasi oleh Kapolresta Cirebon, Kombes Sumarni, di Mapolresta Cirebon, Minggu (1/6/2025).
Sementara itu, pihak kepolisian menjerat keduanya dengan pasal berlapis terkait pelanggaran UU Lingkungan Hidup No. 32 Tahun 2009.
Adapun ancaman hukumannya hingga 15 tahun penjara dan denda maksimal Rp 15 miliar.
